We currently have over 135 organisations signed up as referrers, which is fantastic!
We would like to say a HUGE thank you to those of you that are signed up as a GO Active, Get Healthy Referrer. Having your help and support in referring people into the programme is crucial to it's success, in getting the sedentary population of Oxfordshire more active.

Did you know...?
12.5 million people in England failed to achieve 30 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity per week within a 28-day period during 2013.
A report by the Association of Public Health Directors showed that if everyone in England met the Chief Medical Officer guidelines for activity nearly 37,000 deaths a year could be prevented.
Over the last 50 years, physical activity levels have declined by 20 per cent in the UK. Experts predict that if trends continue, by 2030 the average British person will use only 25 per cent more energy than they would have done had they just spent the day in bed!
Evidence shows that the most significant health and clinical benefits are gained by an inactive person currently doing no physical activity starting to do even a little.
