FA Girls' Football Week

It's the 2nd FA Girls' Football Week of 2016 running from 10th - 16th October. This is a national campaign that not only aims to promote women's football, but actively engage as many women aged 16+ into the sport as possible to drive forward participation.
After more than 52,000 girls participated in the first of activities in April, it is hoped that in excess of 22,000 will take part in October (a 20 per cent increase on October 2015). This would therefore bring the total to 75,000 girls and women engaged overall in 2016.
Kelly Simmons, FA Director of Football Participation and Development stated: ''After the success of our first week in April, it's important that we continue to build on this in October''.
We're keen for all organisations from schools to clubs and community projects to provide football opportunities for girls during a national week of action.
Please see attachment below if you are planning on delivering any football activities during this week.
