Learn to Jive - Botley

NEW "Learn Modern Jive" class in Botley starting on 18th September every Tuesday in the Grant Thornton Building next to the old Seacourt Hall.

There is no age limit and as the exercise is gentle, the classes provide an ideal opportunity for older people to remain active.

Each session will teach 3 moves and offer participants a chance to practise dancing. There is no need to bring a partner as participants are swapped frequently throughout the session so nobody is left out. The lessons teach 3 of the basic 20 moves each week plus time to dance and practice. No need to worry if a week is missed as the moves are eventually repeated. Free parking in the private car park for the centre is available very close.

The lessons are all about having fun and being relaxed, and aren't not strict like ballroom. Each week the instructor will start afresh so participants are free to start on any date.

Tuesdays 11:30 - 13:00 (From 18th September 2018) The cost is £4 including a short refreshment break in the middle.
